Is my profile subject to censoring ?

Yes. All member profiles, when they are originally/initially created as well as when they are modified, must be approved by the Dosthy Web Administrator. Dosthy.com management reserve the right to refuse any profile or photograph that we feel inappropriate for the site. Also, we suggest that you do not put any personal information in your profile [ In ‘About Yourself’ Column ], including your home address, a personal contact details, mobile or other telephone numbers, any email address or personal web address. Any repeat offenders of this rule will be banned from using Dosthy.com until such information is removed from their profile.

See, The number of replies you receive from other members will absolutely depend on the quality of your profile. Here are some helpful tips that will help you to create a best profile :

 Create a catchy title for your profile : When members search listings on Dosthy.com, the title of your profile is listed next to your name. As a general rule, profile titles like "Hi!" or “Hallo” do not catch other member’s attention, where as more personalized titles do. So, think wisely and create a best title.

Think before you write : Feel free to write the best wordings you want in our ‘About Yourself’ portions of the sign-up pages. How do I permanently delete my account?

To delete your individual accounts, Using your profile/email id and password you must login to your Dosthy Inbox and follow the following procedures;In your Inbox, Click on the "Delete Profile" link at the middle of the inbox page.

Click on the "confirmation" link -> Click on "Delete your Account". Or email us a delete profile request.

CAUTION : Once you click on the Delete link, you account and profile will be instantly and permanently deleted ! There is no way to recover or restore your account. Please consider this before making your Delete selection.

How do I upload photos?

Adding a photo to your profile is an excellent idea that will substantially increase the number of responses you get from other members. To upload a photo, please follow these steps:

Log on to your inbox. - > Click on the "Upload Photo" link to upload the photo - >

Click on "Browse" and select the file you want to upload - > Click "Upload Photo".

Please make sure your photo that you upload is in agreement with our here.

You can delete an uploaded photo just by clicking on the "Delete Photo" link in the Dosthy Inbox where you want to delete the photo.

If you are having difficulties uploading a photo and would like us to post a photo to your profile for you, then you can send us a copy of the photo by postal mail to:

How long does it take to have my profile/photo(s) approved ?

All profiles and photos are subject to our approval process and may take anywhere between 24-48 hours to review. Any photos or profiles that do not adhere to our Terms of Use or are deemed unacceptable will be denied.

Why was my profile denied?

We apologize for the inconvenience. Your profile was most likely denied for one or more of the following reasons :

• Containing some personal contact information.

• Not meeting the minimum word count that require in “about Yourself’ column.

• Having repetitive or invalid content.  

• Including banned or inappropriate topics.

• The profileID is inappropriate for Dosthy.com

• The language used is not supported by Dosthy.com.

To update/modify/edit your account, simply update your profile by clicking the Edit Profile link on your dosthy inbox and alter the content to meet with dosthy.com standards. Once you submit it, our team will review it again.

Getting Started ?

At first, simply click "Join Free" to get to our registration page and fill out the rest of the form below.
